Principal’s Message

Thank you for viewing our new and improved Lockhart Middle School Web site. We hope you find it both interesting and informative. We are working hard to add new features and update the site regularly with information that the entire Lockhart community will find useful.

Academic excellence at Lockhart Middle School is founded on a partnership between students, staff, and parents. As a community of learners, we work to ensure the intellectual, physical, social and emotional growth of each student.

As a school we strive to provide a safe and comfortable place for each student to grow and learn. We want each child here to be a participating member of our school community. In addition to our academic programs, we offer band, chorus, sports programs, and an after-school activities program.

Our mission is to create a positive, safe, and professional learning environment. We will provide equal opportunities for all students to develop socially, academically, and emotionally. Our curriculum will prepare students for future success while recognizing and preserving our diverse American culture.
